The Salt Lake Temple is the largest (of more than 120 around the world) and the best-known temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. When visiting, tourists can't go inside the temple itself, only around it and visit the gardens and the other buildings in the square. We spent a few hours there on our way down south to the parks, took photos and even talked to one of the church people who were walking around.
