A very common blister beetle (14mm, Mylabris sp., Meloidae). Found it in the miombo forests at Mikembo sanctuary (DR Congo, Katanga, January 2013, ethanol preserved collection). Studio work with a staged specimen. Image based on 245 images, assembled in Zerene Stacker (Dmap & Pmax).
