This is a game-changer for teaching telling time to the hour and half hour in 1st grade or 2nd grade! 👏🏻⏰ My students always got confused when the hour hand fell between 2 numbers on the clock. It made telling time to the half hour really hard! This helped my sweet friends soo much! I gave them the visual that each number on the clock has its own room. The space that comes after the number is its room. When the hour hand is in that numbers room, you know that's the hour! The hour doesn't change until it gets to the next number's room. This cleared up all the confusion and after a little bit of explicate practice using the anchor chart as a visual, my students could easily determine the hour for any time!
