Brooklyn's Prospect Park has long been one of New York City's favorite parks. Find out where to eat and play while visiting it.
Prospect Park: Reviews from families visiting Prospect Park. Few places offer opportunity for imagination like Prospect Park. Located alongside the Kimberly Crest House and Gardens this 11.4 acre natural park provides walking trails, rose gardens and vistas of the Inland Empire. Our favorite area is the Bamboo Forest. Located near the rose garden in the upper parking lot this area looks like a wall, but if you squeeze though the trees there is clearing inside that opens up to the sky. Large enough for a picnic and enough little "rooms" of bamboo for even the most imaginative kids. Dont miss the stage near the rose garden or the amphitheater. If you are there when its empty it is a perfect time for mommies to sit and watch as kids perform to their hearts content on the empty stage. Our most favorite is circus animals with a ring master. Dont forget to take a bow!
