Unfortunately, as I was riding the bike home from getting paint protection film installed and fairings repainted I rode through an industrial area in Auckland. There was a large oil spill on the road that was obscured around a corner and I couldn't stop in time before I ended up going for a slide. The damage to the bike is only cosmetic, as I absorbed most of the impact - the first time I've ever come off in 7 years of riding! No need to worry, my gear did its job and I only got bruised up.
