Violeta’s work has been awarded by the Biennial Ilustrarte 2016 and selected for the Salon du Livre in Montreul and Korea CJAwards. Her illustrations have also been selected five times in the Bologna Children Book Fair exhibition. Violeta illustrated Les Poings Sur les Liles, a beautiful animated film directed by Lu Bing for the CJ Picture Book Festival. She had exhibitions in Spain, Italy, France, Germany, Israel, Turkey, Korea and Japan. She also illustrated the app Opera XXI for the Royal Theatre, and has work on murals in collaboration with illustrator Valerio Vidal in Germany. She currently has her studio in Berlin. Her recent hobbies are: dancing without a method, traveling and living in different places, walking without glasses through the park and recording songs that nobody would hear. Violeta’s work is bold and sweet, both strong and delicate, as being a part of a dream we don’t want to wake up from.
