San Carlo al Corso, Rome. The chapel of the Immaculate Conception. The chapel at the right hand end of the transept is sumptuously and impressively decorated and was completed in 1769. The altarpiece is actually a mosaic, a copy of the Immaculate Conception with the doctors of the church by Carlo Maratha. The two statues next to the altar are: left-King David, to the right, Judith.
