This gorgeous sterling bracelet from Volmer Bahner Denmark (his mark was registered from 1962 to 1988) features pale blue guilloche enamel in a simple but quite elegant design. The technique consists of etching a pattern in the silver before enameling, adding depth and texture. This wonderful bracelet is in excellent condition and measures 7 1/4 by 1/2" with a tight and secure spring ring closure. I have not polished it, but will leave that to the new owner. It is marked V.B., Denmark, sterling.

Seraphs is the latest brainchild of Bernd Volmer. It was born out of an ambitious idea: bringing together a patchwork type family of 18 different styles (and many more possible interpolations) into one variable font “dynasty” file. For trial fonts visit: Show Me Fonts (https://showmefonts.com/) The Seraphs family is available in three weights including light, regular and bold. Each weight offers six distinctive styles, including: - a clean serif with curved connections - a sharp-as-knife wedge serif - a slab serif that draws attention to the serifs - a playful tuscan serif style - a calligraphic serif style that resembles the writing of a calligrapher - a humanist sans that doesn’t hide its calligraphic roots The family is developed as a variable font, which means that you can interpolate between the serif styles and play with the sliders to create many more intermediate styles. You will get a variable WOFF2 for web use, a variable TTF for desktop use and 18 OTFs for desktop use.
WEST ALLEN STREET (ATSF) West Allen Street is a minimum space HO scale micro layout, built to see if an operationally interesting model railroad can be built on a small budget. The layout is based on a small, urban freight spur somewhere in the United States. The idea of big things in small spaces is the key theme, with vertical space being used as well as the square footage on the ground. West Allen Street features a metal factory, a freight transfer building, and a small factory, as well as a team track and liquids unloading point. The layout was built with budget in mind, and – including 4 DCC fitted locomotives and all rolling stock – the cost has been kept well under £200. Done in DC, the layout would cost even less. Hopefully this will serve to show that model railroading can be an affordable and rewarding hobby. LAYOUT FACTFILE Dimensions: 1'x4' with an additional 1' fiddle stick on the sector plate.
