A last minute decision to hike Devil's Kitchen in the Ogwen Valley was a success. Although a popular trail, we saw only a few people along the way. The views across the valley to Pen yr Ole Wen summit and Ogwen Valley were amazing. A great day of hiking in Northern Wales.

Hi hi This is an image taken by me on a walk up Cwm Idwal towards Devil's Kitchen and Llyn Idwal from Llyn Ogwen. The North Wales mountains were absolutely covered in heather at this time of year and there had been good rainfull to saturate the ground and fill the small streams and waterfalls. This particular evening had a really dramatic and moody feel to it, and I hope you agree that it has been captured in this photo. Available in a few sizes here, but if you have another preference, do get in touch as I'm sure I can help. This would look great framed on any wall, and I'd recommend a good mount too. It’s surprising to me how underrated a travel destination Wales is. With its beautiful landscapes, magnificent castles, and colorful coastal towns, Wales is about as dreamy as it gets. Scotland and Ireland always seems to get all of the love while Wales gets overlooked. But truly, my favorite castle is in Wales - Conwy Castle, which is the first on this list. Some of the prettiest coastal towns in the UK are in Wales, like Aberaeron and Llandudno, and they sure give places like Brighton, England a run for their money. There’s so much to explore that makes it worth more than just a day trip from London to Cardiff (though that’s fun to do as well). I had the opportunity with Visit Wales to spend a week driving down the coast of Wales, starting in Manchester, England (where we flew in), and finishing in Cardiff. Our route took us through towns like Conwy, Tenby, Aberystwyth, Caernarfon, and more. It was truly hard to just pick the best of the best beautiful photo spots for this guide, but I feel like I’ve included some of the most Instagrammable spots that Wales has to offer.

yellow grass curls and straggles its way to the sky as do I. in a way, I long to follow the hawk lifting on borrowed air but I do not know where he is going and I care; I have to walk very straight…
Hello This is an image featuring the heather that's currently spreading all over the North Wales mountains of Snowdonia National Park. It was taken whilst on the Cwm Idwal walk from Llyn Ogwen to Llyn Idwal, or Devil's Kitchen. Prints - The photo is presented in a Lustre finish on Fuji Professional Paper and looks stunning compared to what we see on our computers. Note that A3 and A4 sizes will be cropped ever so slightly and may need trimming. Postcard - The photo is presented as a real postcard to be used as a Thank You, to drop someone a note, or to be framed and displayed in your downstairs loo if you so wish. This would look incredible framed, and I purposely sell standalone prints so that you have the freedom to choose your own frames for the final look. Free UK delivery
