Moon Water is simply water that has been exposed to the moonlight and charged with a magical intention. Water acquires the properties and energy of each moon phase to be used in rituals at any other time. How to prepare Moon Water Moon Water is generally used when, for some reason, a spell has not been cast during the best phase of the Moon. By charging the water with lunar energy, properties and energy are preserved for a longer time. A Moonwater Recipe for each Phase: Increase your Magical Powers Moonwater is simply water that has been charged under the energy of the moon. It can be prepared in any of its phases (it does not necessarily have to be Full Moon!) By pronouncing this simple Wiccan spell. You must make sure that the water is safe to drink. • A glass container of any size, very well disinfected. You can boil it previously. HOW TO PREPARE MOON WATER • Pour water into the container. If this is your first time, use 3 cups of water. If not, feel free to experiment with quantities. • Place the container in a place where it is illuminated by moonlight, preferably outside. It can also be near a window inside your home. A good idea is to use a glass container or a clear bottle that allows light to reach the water unhindered. It doesn't matter if it's cloudy, as moonlight, like sunlight, can easily pass through clouds. • By placing the water in the moonlight, consecrate it by saying out loud: "Dear Moon, thank you for this Sacred Water, which is ALREADY helping me" (Here you say your intention). • Your intention/request could be attracting more money into your life, healing a part of your body, recovering a relationship, or any other reason you want to focus this sacred energy. • It is not necessary to leave the water outside overnight. A few hours is enough. Of course, be sure to pick it up before sunrise, before the sun's rays reach it. • Take precautions so that Luna's water is free of insects. Then pour it into a bottle or jar.
