This old water tower looks like it would have been a good place to stop if your engine was thirsty! It is part of a railroad museum in Eureka Springs Arkansas. There was several old engines, railroad cars and other equipment here, enough subjects that I wish I could have had a whole day to explore and shoot. And yes, Lori, whenever I see this, I keep thinking, "There's a little hotel called the Shady Rest at the Junction! Petticoat Junction!" The depot / museum was open with a couple of clerks inside and I believe that there is a train that runs occasionally from Branson Mo. to Eureka Springs. It would be great to take a ride on it through the Ozarks hills and would be very scenic! Hope you all have a wonderful week!
