Excavated rare 1820 era one piece "Regiment of Riflemen" coat size button recovered by Marcus Daly on private property along the Confederate Battle Line almost within a "baseball throw" of the famous "Carter House". This generally means that some young Confederate was wearing his Grandfather's military coat from an earlier era. The button has a broken shank {which is no doubt why it was lost}, and has a beautiful emerald green patina. I WOULD NOT want to be where this button has been.
