Alyssa and MJ were set up through the bride's cousin on a surprise blind date at Ceviché, and later got engaged at the same restaurant. When MJ proposed to Alyssa he not only did so at the restaurant where they had their first date, but he proposed in the spot where they first kissed (literally swoon!) The couple both attended Florida State University so garnet and gold were a natural choice for their color palette; subtle pops of blush were also incorporated which created a soft romantic feel. Wanting a wedding that mixed traditional elements with fun experiences for their guests, and lots of personal touches, every detail of this wedding was elegant, timeless, fun, and had Alyssa and MJ written all over it!

{Werbung} „Dann mach` ich mir `nen Schlitz ins Kleid und find` es wunderbar!“  Eigentlich ist mein neues Kleid ja gar kein Kleid, sondern eine Longbluse *klugscheissermodusan  Das ist mir aber egal, denn ich finde das „Longblusen-Kleidchen einfach super schön!  Als ich den Schnitt „Urania“ das erste Mal bei den Mädels von Schnittmuster Berlin sah, war ich noch nicht so angetan, denn ich bin ja bekanntermaßen recht klein und ich dachte, das steht mir nicht.  Allerdings hatte ich dann mal zur Probe ein ähnliches Kleid (nur sündhaft teuer) an, und war ganz begeistert von dem Schnitt!  Also habe ich mir kurzerhand einen passende Stoff geordert und war auch noch ruckizucki fertig mit meiner „Urania“, denn die Anleitung ist mal wieder erstklassig. Geändert habe ich nur die Ärmel. Ich hatte keine Lust auf Manschetten, darum habe ich sie auf Dreiviertel gekürzt und ein Gummiband eingezogen. Die Schlitze habe ich auch ein wenig entschärft, indem ich sie 10 cm mehr zugenäht habe.
