I've written out and deleted an opening sentence to this lookbook probably about 30 times now - I don't know what to say. It feels really weird. I can't believe it really got made. I want to say how hard it was - but in the grand scheme of things it wasn't as hard as others had it. I want to say how thankful we are to
I love playing with perspective and wanted to take that approach with my first underwater shoot. Fluffing the dress and the model's hair correctly took many tries but I'm glad with what we eventually got! Shot on a Panasonic LX10.

To come into our power. What an amazing mantra to keep in mind. We are all powerful beyond measure, I believe that truly. We are all pent up energy that wants to ring out loudly like thunder. I have heard so many people saying this year that they want to help but can't, that they want to feel powerful or like they make a difference but they simply don't. I get it, so much. I understand what it feels like to feel powerless. To have so little, to not know what to give, to not know what helps. The truth is, though, that every good intentioned deed helps. Every little bit helps. All we need to do is come into our power, understand our worth, know in our cells that we are unique and that uniqueness can change the world. So here I am exploding...or, my dark version of coming into my power. Today I released a 20 Day Portfolio Renovation Challenge. The concept is simple: for 20 days, starting January 1st, you will receive an email in your inbox. By the end of the 20 days you will have received 60+ questions/exercises and 5 educational videos about how to enhance and overhaul your portfolio. The best part? 40% of the earnings goes to charity. We have already raised 1k for charity in just 3 hours. But I know we can do more. Sign up if you can, I'd be so grateful. Link in bio as well. www.promotingpassion.com/20-day-challenge/ Day 19 of my December self-portrait challenge. P.S. To see a variation of this concept: www.flickr.com/photos/brookeshaden/8509650433
