Molly recently learned about White Borscht Soup when she started researching Polish food. She always thought she wasn’t a borscht person because she’s not into beets, so this white version with potatoes is the way to go.
Finally got the 2nd soup from the Polish class added. Chef Tad picked an awesome recipe to share with us. Of course, this is another very authentic and distinct with flavors kind of soup. Most of all, I love the broth. The tartness of it alone just made me want to drink it by itself. Of course, the addition of a homemade Polish smoked kielbasa, ham, eggs & Chef Tad's made from scratch Dilly Rye Bread gave this soup an extraordaire taste combination. I look forward to making this soup for my parents when the get back from being snow birds. I hope you enjoy Chef Tad's White Borscht.

It’s definitely worth making a double batch. You’ll end up with a lot of soup, but: You’ll use up a full can of tomatoes, and a full can of white beans. It just tastes better the next day :)
A, J.A.P.friend, E-mailed me after looking at my 50 POLISH RECIPE, cookbook and asked me if I had a recipe for White Polish Borscht Soup she had in Chicago. I went to my Polish file and there it was.A wonderful recipe from my good Polish neighbor who moved to Chicago ten years ago. I wish I had remembered it to put in my J.A.P. Cookbook yesterday! So seeing I had all the ingredients at home....I made it this morning, and here is the results with pictures. It is only 7:30 here..so this will be my breakfast!...LOL YUMMY! This is especially for Jo Ellen, with hugs, Nancy 5/12/12
