Hello again, I'm here today to show you the other card I made at the workshop a couple of weeks ago. Again, a lovely design from Diane Boden-Crane. The trellis behind the flowers is made with carefully placed quilling strips. It creates an effective backdrop for the flowers. I love these quilled daffodils - they are so easy to make and yet look so pretty. The message is printed on my PC and punched out using the Stamping Up window punch. I've just listed this card in my Etsy shop - see the link to the right. Spring is definitely my favourite time of year - everything beginning to come to life again and the promise of so many good things to come. I've just managed to get hold of a new quilling book "Quilled Flowers" by Ali Bartowski. It contains some lovely designs - I can't wait to have some time to play!
