Lately I've been on the lookout for pattern weights. They seem like both a little time saver and a gentler alternative over pins on delicate fabrics. I had a really hard time finding any to buy, but on my quest I came across various DIY versions and decided to give one option a go. Over the weekend I've made this handsome set using washers bought at a hardware store. I doubled mine for some extra weight before wrapping them in knitting yarn. Really simple and very effective.
