Our brains and our hearts have a very interesting relationship, and it is their crazy back-and-forth that Nick Seluk, the artist behind the popular Awkward Yeti webcomic (which also had these wonderful comics on depression), plays upon with his Heart And Brain comic series.
Our hearts and our brains don't always get along. In fact, you might say they're like "The Odd Couple" — opposites in almost every way, but they happen to live in the same house. Some positive affirmations from Handsome Bizarro Superman in Action Comics #255!: Indeed! What is difference when you still handsome! She lucky girl, for sure! Bizarro became much more entertaining when he began speaking in opposites. Meanwhile, over in Pep Comics #53, Jughead's cousin shows up and all the guys want a date with her, sight-unseen. Then she shows up looking like this: Point of Order #1: Why is anyone surprised? I mean, look at Jughead. What did you think a relative of his is going to look like. Point of Order #2: This exact same plot was used in Pep #33. Maybe it's a deliberate running gag that Jughead's cousins are always going to be unfortunate-looking. Regardless, I don't see why the Riverdale lads didn't learn from that the first time. Interestingly enough, Jughead's cousin showed herself as a binge eater before Jughead ever did: Archie fans know that Jughead's appetite would later surpass that of his cousin. It's kind of odd that Jughead's trademark surfaced in a relative of his first. Back to Action Comics. When Suddenly! (tm!) Alright, then. See you tomorrow!
Alright, that's enough.
