In the Twenty-Fifth Dynasty, the Nubian pharaoh Shabaka would transcribe on a stela known as the Shabaka Stone, an old theological document found in the archives of the library of the temple of the god at Memphis. This document has been known as the Memphite Theology, and shows the god Ptah, the deity responsible for the creation of the universe by thought and by the word. Ptah is the patron of craftsmanship, metalworking, carpenters, shipbuilders, and sculpture. Amenhotep IV, was an Egyptian Pharaoh of the eighteenth dynasty that ruled approximately from 1352 to 1336. In the fourth year of is reign, he changed his name to Akhenaten and created the monotheistic religion of Atenism, or the worship of the sun disk. His main wife was the queen Nefertiti, and was the father of the future Pharaoh Tutankhamun. The original piece can be seen at the Luxor museum, Egypt.
