I roll out to slab using rolling pin from a ball of clay and keep the shape as it is, no trimming or cutting into any kind of shape. Bottom part of the bowl is left unglazed and showing off the natural beauty of the clay body. This bowl is perfect for every day use for small salad, side dish, pasta or dessert and ice cream. Due to the handmade nature of this item and the alchemy of the glazing process, variations in the glazes from the stock photos and from batch to batch should be expected and appreciated.
