Sunset on the Pacific Ocean. Doesn't get much better than that. I love the thick application of the oil paint on this 6"x12" original oil (see the two close-up images for a better look). I've created a number of paintings using this same theme as you often need to put in the work that comes with repetition. Of course, each version has its own unique color and paint handling characteristics. Many years of studying waveforms go into each of these studies. This little gem could be the perfect start to your art collection! Now available as a Limited Edition Fine Art Giclée Print at 7" x 14"! 50 total signed and numbered. The high-resolution digital image of this piece shows incredible detail. Or, click on this link for the Original Oil painting! My name is Gabriela Niko. I am a freelance illustrator and sketchbook artist, based in Poland. The main topic of my work is people - their beauty and the subtle emotions expressed in their faces. I create both traditionally and digitally, but the sketchbook is my favorite and most important tool for everyday studies, development, and experiments with art. This is where I can explore different mediums and styles in a quick, fresh, and playful way.
Who could have thought that simple Altoid tins could transform into various useful everyday objects and even masterpieces? In this case, Ohio-based artist Remington Robinson continues to create beautiful mini Plein air paintings. His tiny blank canvas turns into realistic paintings portraying natural and urban landscapes.
I decided to create a challenge where I asked our community to share the best artwork they've done. It could be anything painted, drawn, etc. on paper.
Hey Pandas! My name is Angie and I’m from Russia. I’m 31 years old and I quit my office job to start painting in oils! I draw excellently with pencils and love digital art. And I have no art education!

About The Artwork I was born in 1973, and my parents were farmers. In 1999, I got enrolled into an art college with a dream of becoming an artist. I am currently a father, a husband, and a painter. The duality and struggle between a domestic life of being a parent and spouse with a working life became a subject matter to my work. My work expresses conflicts and emotions aroused from distinct social roles through figurative subjects that ranges from models and cartoon characters, to gods. For each piece, I start with a simple drawing on a canvas of a chosen figure/ image. Then, I go into a constant exploration of constructing and deconstructing the image with obsessive amount of acrylics or oils to ease out my emotions. I adapt myself and live out the society through such actions. Reach for the Moon and grab your future in this one of a kind original canvas painting that is sure to look great in any teen girls room, a wonderful motivational gift for a friend ready to grab what life has to offer or just because it is so unique and mystical. The colorful sky with a dark contrast to the black sky with the ever faithful moon is sure to transport you each time you look at this piece. This is an 11x14 canvas board that has been varnished with artist sealer to protect and enhance the colors for years but please use a dry cloth to clean if you do not put it under glass. Certain cleaning chemicals can possibly break down the paints. There is no frame included with this purchase but I have created this piece on canvas board which has the same great quality as regular canvas but is much thinner making it easier and more affordable to frame. Your purchase will be bubble wrapped and placed into a shipping envelope especially made for artwork so that it can be protected. If anything should occur due to the handling of the shipping company, which I cannot quarantee their handling, please do not hesitate to contact me so we can find a solution. I will require photos as proof of the damage so I may act accordingly. Your canvas will be titled, dated and signed on the backside. Thank you for browsing
