Troy Bolton is the main character in the High School Musical trilogy. He is the captain of East High Wildcats basketball team. He is also boyfriend of Gabriella Montez (one of the smartest and most extraordinary students). He is the son of Jack Bolton and Lucille Bolton. It took a while for his father to understand his love for singing, but now both parents are supportive, loving and happy. His dad was the coach, so every now and then -- especially on big games -- his father would organize colle
