At that time in Japan, it was believed that strong winds brought epidemics and other disasters. Wind chimes were hung at the four corners of the eaves of temples as a protection against disasters as the area where the sound could be heard was considered a sacred space. While he crafts the wind chimes, he always pay attention that people can feel more familiar with the beautiful sound that play with the wind. The materials are made by collecting empty bottles of cosmetics, whiskey, etc. from local residents and melting them down. The unevenness of the glass gives them different tones!
