Most of us recognize the Farnsworth House as the bullet-pocked house on Baltimore Street that is now a popular restaurant and bar. Confederates occupied the Sweeney house, as it was known at the time, with sharpshooters firing on Union soldiers on Cemetery Hill from the unique off set 3rd story window. There is some conjecture that the bullet that killed Jennie Wade was fired from here as there was a clear line of sight to the McClellan house in 1863.
