About Favourite movie scene...The Enchanted April...Lady Caroline Dester (Polly Walker) flapper extraordinaire...enters the room, extends one arm out to have the maid remove her fabulous fur trimmed coat, what I thought when I came across this amazing 20s evening coat...Labeled Gunther Furs, Paris -New York...black silk cut velvet with gold lame ground, trimmed in black fox and lined in ivory silk satin...a coat that transcends time...Straight silhouette coat, closes at front with one large button and loop closure, long sleeves, front facings and cuffs are trimmed in a deep band of black fox fur, lined in off white silk satin...In excellent vintage condition, there are a few spots in the lining (left front about 10" up from the hem and one tiny hanger mark on the lining right shoulder, these do not take away from the beauty and wear ability of the coat...Fits a modern 4-6... In excellent wearable condition...All our clothing is dry cleaned and inspected for condition and is ready to wear...Any condition issues will be noted...For visual comparison our mannequin is a size 4 Measurements are: Bust: 40" Hip: 42" Shoulder back: 15" Sleeve length: 23" Back length: 44"
