About The Artwork I realized that I don't need to look for inspiration - it's all around me. I live in the north of Italy, in Piedmont, and when I went for a walk, I very often came across a plant that looked like a banana tree. I was very attracted by the leaves with their unusual shape and texture and I decided to capture them in my work.This is how this painting was born, reminiscent of warm countries where such flowers bloom in the tropics. It is a good reminder of how wonderful travelling is.
