Very 'cushy' in feel, texture and looks. What is Christmas? This beautiful and simple panel cotton print represents Christians who will tell you how it all started and why we celebrate each year. This loose representation of welcoming Baby Jesus has the words 'Christmas Pure and Simple' printed at the top and bottom in red. The inner border is a light blue with various phrases of songs printed throughout (Oh, Little Town of Bethlehem, etc.). The outer border is variegated shades of a red cotton print. The entire front has multiple decorative detailed quilting stitches outlining the main print (the pics do not do them justice). There is meandering decorative curved stitching scattered throughout the front. All decorative quilting stitches are used to help highlight and enhance the overall finish. The back is done in a dark brown floral/leaf cotton print. There are multiple locking stitches used to anchor all 3 layers together. This would be ideal in the front room or entry way to add to your holiday decor. Perhaps a child's room or nursery. May also be used as a throw over the back of a chair, sofa or table. This is very well made with quality fabrics and attention to detail in every stitch. Very labor intensive, but I feel the final results turned out very nice and is quite unique in its' final outcome.
