This is a rare and charming souvenir drinking glass, celebrating the Dinoland pavillion at the 1964 New York World's Fair. The Dinoland pavilion, sponsored by Sinclair Oil Corporation, featured nine life-size models of dinosaurs, including Brontosaurus (now Apatosaurus; also Sinclair's "Dino" mascot), Triceratops, and a 20-foot-tall Tyrannosaurus rex - in a very popular show that honoured the work of the then-89-year-old Barnum Brown, the fossil hunter who had discovered T. Rex at the turn of the 20th century. The glass is in very good condition for its age. It stands 14 cm heigh x 8 cm diameter, and it weighs 225 g. Any questions, please ask.
