You wont be disappointed in the purchase of this book. NOTE: All the patterns in this book are for 1/6 scale or Barbie sized. You could easily reduce that to 1/12 or another scale using a photocopier or scan/reduce/print with a home computer. The book gives you ideas for making your own dollhouse or room boxes, furniture, and some accessories. The patterns are for period furniture with a little discussion on Early American, French Provencial, Late Colonial, and Victorian periods. But with some creativity you could adapt many of the designs to a more modern look and feel using paint and fabric. (The furniture plans are perfect for shabby chic interiors, for example). This book is in decent condition. It's a little yellow around the edges. The book itself is in great condition-very complete and useful.
