This is a really beautiful framed solid wood inlay marquetry piece dating to the 1970s or 80s and measuring approximately 11 3/4 inches wide by 15 1/4 inches tall and 3/4 inches deep. I have some other beautiful wooden inlay market tree wall art pieces right now from the Hudson River Company in New York, But I have not seen this particular design. It’s probably from that company, though I am not 100% sure. I just love the beautiful work in this piece. The rich warm colors of the wood combined with the beautiful artistry makes it a true work of art. The scene is of a horse on its hind legs either in the middle of a jump or Gallup with a big stylized rosebud or other flower behind him. It looks like he’s on top of some sort of bridge. The horse to me looks like a chess piece. I just love it. This is framed and ready to go and would be perfect for the equestrian aficionado in your life. In very good preowned vintage condition, this is free from damage or repair and is a lovely piece of artwork. It does have a few little surface scratches here and there indicating a little age but nothing that would detract or devalue this beautiful item. Please be sure to view all the photos carefully and zoom in for details. This is an important part of the description, and it’s assumed you have viewed them all. Unlike brand new items, antiques and vintage pieces will often show signs of wear or use. Unless otherwise mentioned, my items are sold as I found them Don’t hesitate if you have any questions about this or anything else in my shop.
