A while back a good friend and neighbor of mine shared this idea. She knew I created patterns and thought I should try building on it. I made some and used them to see if I liked them. I loved them and use often. All my kids families have them now and like them. Even my 7 year old grandson has to use it to open his jar of salsa. Shared the pattern with my sister one Christmas and she loved using them as part of her neighbor gifts. These jar openers uses worsted weight acrylic yarn and a simple rubberized shelf liner. Works best if the liner has the little holes and has a good grip. (My sister found some at the dollar store). There are 12 different pattern styles and the patterns come with a template for three different round sizes: Small = 5" Medium = 6" Large = 7" The skill level is easy * * * * * THIS IS A PATTERN - not a finished product. This pattern is copyrighted THE COMMON THREADWORKS - but may be copied for noncommercial use. Any items made from this pattern may be sold for profit (We would love it if you would mention our Etsy Shop).
