This extremely rare design light is part of Ingo Maurer´s Uchiwa lamp series designed around 1973. These lamps were inspired by Japanese Uchiwa fans and were mainly produced as wall lights. However, several hanging light models were also produced by Ingo Maurer´s company Design M. This pendant light consists of 7 fans made of rice paper and wood. The light is in excellent used condition and shows only minor signs of use. The fans do not have any damages. The fans show several dark spots.
