Steal the Banana is a fun and competitive game for upper elementary and even middle school students to practice reading rhythms. This set was made with the intention to be used with older beginners. You could definitely use it with the little ones if you want to, but it is such a fun game, my recommendation it to save it for your upper elementary and middle school kids. Two teams compete to collect the most bananas for their team, but watch out! The other team may steal your bananas! This set includes game instructions as well as 16 cards that can be printed, cut in half and laminated for long term use. Each card contains a four beat rhythm pattern. A rhythm list is included for teacher use. Hardest rhythm concept: ta and titi Other rhythmic concepts include: none * This set can be used with any system for reading rhythms. All rhythms are notated using rhythm stick notation. Your feedback brightens my day and helps me to continually improve my products for my students and other teachers and students who use them. If you download this, I would appreciate you leaving a comment to let me know what you think! :) Looking for similar games?
