5 THINGS TO DO IN LONDON… 1. Get an Uber boat- Uber Boats by @thamesclippers are such a great way of getting around the city and reasonably priced too. Kids get a 50% discount and under 4’s are free and you can tap on and off in a similar way to the tube, or just purchase a ticket. We found it a great way of seeing the sights and there are 24 piers along the Thames. 2. Head to Battersea Park- There’s so much going on in this area now, they’ve completely restored the iconic @batterseapwrstn building into an entertainment complex. There’s a great food hall inside called @arcadefoodhall which had loads of great vendors. If you’ve got kids there’s also a brilliant playground right outside called Prospect Park. This was also one of the areas we got a Uber boat too but there’s also a new tube station too. 3. Head to @outernetglobal - just next to Tottenham Court Road tube station is Outernet, an immersive art complex. It’s free to enter the exhibitions and they change them regularly. You couldn’t spend a morning here but it’s definitely worth a look if you are in the area. 4. Head to @sensas_uk - Tucked under an archway in Vauxhall is SENSAS, a 2 hour multi-sensory experience designed to test your senses and your body. I found this by chance when planning and although it’s the most expensive activity we did (approx £34 for an adult ticket, cheaper for children), we found it more reasonably priced than some of the other live, immersive activities I’d previously thought of. I don’t want to give too much away but your senses are challenged by going into rooms as a team. The people we were on a team with were good fun- think eating, touching, seeing, smelling and hearing. You compete to win tokens which give you a donation to charity. Very unique and not something you’d do more than once, but good fun. 5. Head to Spitalfields- @oldspitalfieldsmarket is such a great way to spend a few hours, there’s loads of shopping and food options.
