Students take turns to throw the dice. The one with the highest score starts, throws again and moves the counter forward the number of squares shown on the dice. When they land on the square, they must make a sentence using the correct form of the words in brackets. E.g., a student lands on square 2: If I had a black eye, I would put some ice on it. If the rest of the group agree that the sentence is correct, the student stays on the square and it is the next student’s turn. If the sentence is not correct, the student moves back to the START or five spaces if they are further along in the game.
