Seine Understated simplicity at its best, Seine is a modern and light shawl that’s enjoyable to knit. This asymmetric triangle shawl, knitted on the bias, has two parts. The body is a combination of garter stitch and stockinette stripes, for textural interest. The focal point is the delicate quatrefoil eyelet pattern on the border. YARN Two skeins of Julie Asselin Fino (75% merino, 15% cashmere, 10% silk; 366 m / 400 yds per 115 g). Shown in colour Birch. Or approximately 681 m / 745 yds of similar fingering weight yarn. NEEDLES Size 4 mm / US 6 needles or size to obtain pattern gauge Shawl is worked flat, but I recommend using 80-100 cm / 32-40 inch circular needles to accommodate the growing number of stitches.
