Cheetah, Leeupan, Kruger National Park We visit the Kruger National Park very often, but in the past 21 years have seen cheetah only once before - approximately 19 years ago, Willie tells me, though I cannot even remember it. Thus we were thrilled when when we came across this female and her almost adult son this past weekend. What made the sighting especially nice was that they were in open terrain and quite close to our vehicle.
