Food is huge here, thankfully, and quite readily available; besides the upstairs kitchen with personal nooks for each guest, there’s a living-room café (lean back to take in Dennis Rudolph’s entrancing ceiling fresco) and a 24-hour in-house grocery called Lekker. Stock up there on produce from Libertine’s own biodynamic farm, piquant spices, and a whole range of themed home accessories because why not. If you’re feeling a bit rusty with kitchenware, drop in on a Wednesday cooking course, or skip straight to cocktails at the make-it-yourself bar and let the chef handle the heavy lifting.
