This delightful Babar print is from Laurent de Brunhoff’s 1990 book “Babar Returns”. Measuring 4¼” x 6¾” (11cm x 17cm), it has text on the reverse. Laurent de Brunhoff is a French author and illustrator, known primarily for continuing the Babar the Elephant series of children's books, created by his father, Jean de Brunhoff (1899-1937). The story follows the adventures of the world’s most popular elephant and his friends which has enchanted generations.
