The WORRY TREE and STRATEGY ROOTS is a fun, creative and artistic way to talk to kids about their worries and anxiety, and assist them in generating effective strategies to alleviate their worry/anxiety. This strategy is presented in Powerpoint, and is in 8.5x11 inches format, and so can be easily printed and/or laminated. It is best applied to Kindergarten to Grade 6 ages, but can also be adapted to junior high ages. It can be used individually or in group format (e.g., entire classroom activity). It is easy for students, parents, teachers, and counselors to use, at anytime. I have used this in individual and classroom/whole-group format, with great success!
