You will appreciate the quality of the painting as well as the solid feel of the metal. This is not a stamped out piece. It has been hand cut from 55 gallon steel drum in our workshop in Haiti and pounded out to give a rounded look to the butterfly. Finally, it is beautifully hand painted and finished with a polyurethane varnish. It is a piece that you will be proud to display in your home or garden. Photos of the process are shown. We start with a large, recycled steel drum. Burn off the paint and residue, Flatten the drum. Draw the pattern and cut it with hammer and chisel. It is then hand painted and finished with a protective clear finish.
