Esma is a full lace knitting pattern and she is for more of the advanced knitter. Even though this pattern is more lace work she doesn't use too many stitches that you normally find when working lace patterns, all you would need to know is K, P, Yo, K2tog and SSk. Even though Esma doesn't use too many stitches, the rows can get quite confusing and a lot of concentrating would be needed for this pattern but just look how beautiful it is....It's definitely worth it for the end result. This type of pattern can be done over time so it's not worked all at once and you wont get bored of it or make so many mistakes which can be hard to undo when working lace stitches. For this blanket pattern i used Malabrigo Worsted* in the colour Damask Rose which can be purchased here. Enjoy!
