This is the apartment of Norway-based Nina. She has a lovely blog, Note to Self, where she shares snaps of her sewing, crafts, renovation or decoration projects. I enjoy following the evolution of her style and, more recently, the build of her new family home. Here, you can see a stunning black kitchen, which is the result of a little makeover she did herself – Check out the ‘before, pic here – It is amazing to see how much a simple lick of paint and simple design tweaks can do wonders. I really like the dark color palette with rich hues, stained and smoked oak furniture. The touches of muted yellow and white accessories really pop, and make the look fresh and lively. Details in chrome bring just a hint of reflective surfaces and diffuse natural light in a beautiful, subtle way. Enjoy the inspiration! Make sure to head over to Nina’s IG account, and follow her for some serious inspiration. You can also head over to her lovely blog!
