It's Thursday, and that means it's Challenge time again over at www.createwithconnieandmary.com. This week is a colour challenge, and these are the colours we had to work with: I love black and white, with a pop of colour, and I was so excited when I saw that we have a Black and White Designer Series Paper set in our Mini Catalogue. The True Love Designer Series Paper has very versatile patterns on one side and beautiful images, perfect for colouring, on the other. On this card I've made use of both! I chose a subtle pattern, with a black base for the background, and cut out some flowers to act as a feature. I decided to use Magenta Madness as my 'pop' of colour....and it certainly does pop! I coloured the flowers with Blends, leaving the leaf uncoloured. The sentiment is from A Touch of Ink, a Sale-a-Bration stamp set. I stamped it on a punched circle. To bring in a bit more Magenta Madness, I added a border using the Be Mine Stitched Dies. I use this particular die a lot. I hope you like my card!
