I've had a lot of fun with Sea of Textures since it was first introduced a year ago - I'm so glad to see that it's carrying over into the new Stampin' Up catalog! Inky the Octopus (my name for him, not SU's) is stamped here in Night of Navy & cut with the matching die-cuts. The first step in creating this card is to die-cut the window on the card front. The sentiment on the card front is stamped next in Night of Navy, then finally embossed with the Subtle Embossing Folder. Do not try to emboss first and stamp second - it will not work! Been there, done that ): I lined up the card front on the Pool Party card base (without adhering it) and drew a light pencil line around the circle to have a guide for stamping the seaweed. It's stamped with Tranquil Tide, using the "stamping off" method (stamp once, then stamp again without re-inking in-between). The die-cuts are all attached with liquid glue except for Inky, who's popped up on Mini Dimensionals.
