The goji berry has its origin in China, and was introduced in Europe in the 18th century. Currently, the plant grows in many areas in Europe. The plant is commercially appraised as a healthy ‘superfood’. The berries are orange/red, are 2 cm big and do indeed contain many antioxidants and vitamins.
