Who can forgive a Virago full dresser? Ever? Well I say when the rider is wearing a 3-piece suit and smoking Players finest shag, from a proper walnut pipe while carving up Marble Arch in central London, you do. This fellow and 55-odd others riding everything from a mint Honda SL185 to a faux rusty, cast-iron clad VFR street fighter, and wearing everything from tailor-made Harris tweed to highly inflammable polyester, met up in NW5 for the Distinguished Gentleman's Ride before ripping across town. Here are some snaps I made off the back of Geoff Co-Built's scooter. It was quite a bizarre ego boost to have lines of tourists in Camden, Chelsea, Oxford Street; well everywhere, all with their iPhones held up to relay the action.
