There were two challenges this week whose sketches were super close to being the same. I decided to reference both of them as inspiration for my card. I normally don't ever use two sketches for a single card but this week I feel like I can. So a shout out to CAS(E) this Sketch and Freshly Made Sketches for inspiring this birthday card. Materials used: Stamping Up's Crumb Cake, Daffodil Delight and Old Olive card stock...Chocolate Chip ink...glitter embellishments...Sizzix embossing folder...Celebrate sentiment die...Verve stamps 3 Gifts Challenge: (using Ann Voskamp's 1000 gifts daily prompts) a gift worn out, new, made-do // quilt that has traveled with my son to college, the UK, and now to Long Island (it has holes in it but it is super soft and he loves it)...new shoes I got with weekend while shopping with friends...my favorite pen that I use on Sunday mornings during church (right now I am making do because it is super low on ink and has to be held a certain way to even write...I really need a new one!!)
