Full size vintage pattern from 1930 to make these 11 adorable Dolly Dresses and 1 bathing suit. These are old transogram patterns which were used to teach children how to sew. They're simple and can be made by even the beginning sewer, however the instructions are minimal since way back then, most women learned how to sew when they were children and had guidance from a parent or grandparent. There's no size given for the patterns but after measuring them they appear to fit small dolls measuring from 6" to 8" such as Nancy Ann Storybook Dolls, Ginny, Muffie, Kish Riley, Madame Alexander 8" dolls - Wendy and Alexander-kins, Ginger, Marcie, Lingerie Lou - and similar dolls of that size. Measuring one of the dolls, the pattern measures 3-1/2" from shoulder to dress hem but, as with all patterns, you should measure your own doll in order to get a correct fit and adjust the pattern accordingly if necessary. There are no patterns for any of the hats shown in the photos. Really a cute pattern. Instructions are not real detailed assuming basic garment construction is already known. When this pattern was created, back in the 1930s most people learned how to sew at a very early age, with their mothers and grandmothers there to guide and help them learn.
