Folded from a US $1 bill, no cuts. This was done for a recent commission-- the client wanted me to make some eagles that could be turned into a shirt pin. It's illegal to damage a dollar bill, and I'm pretty sure glue counts, so I needed to make a design that could be mounted without adhesive. The spread squash folds inside the wings are open-backed so that I could insert a cardstock armature that would stay on the model. I think this is the first time I've designed something specifically on a dollar bill-- I've adapted other designs, but that doesn't really count. It went well enough so I may try it again!
